I began planning the house four years ago from a blank page. The plot itself is unique, partly covered with pine trees and marked by differences in relief, and it was thus important to understand on site (not on paper) what kind of buildings would suit the environment as it was important to me to retain the natural scenery as much as possible. The entire process was made extra exciting and effective by the fact that the architects, interior architect, construction company and engineers were involved in the process from the very beginning. It was my first and highly thrilling experience to commission the construction of a house. What else can I say – it turned out great!
